Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. To recognize the people who have died from and/or are fighting the terrible disease of cancer, all MTHS football players will be wearing a Pink ribbon sticker on the back of their helmets for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately, we all have been touched by this tragic disease in some way. Here at MTHS we are reminded everyday at Mark Macres Memorial Stadium. MTHS athletes touch the rock everyday in remembrance of Mr. Macres’ courageous battle with cancer. This is an opportunity for us all to come together to honor those who have fought and are fighting cancer and work towards finding a cure.

Here are some options if you are interested in donating to the fight against cancer & cancer research to find a cure, in no particular order, with some information on each. The first four directly benefit those in the greater Sacramento area.
